Description

Ross & Joass, 1863. Italianate with incised Thomsonesque
detail, ashlar. 3 storeys and attic, 19-bay front; at ground
floor, shopfronts and centre Roman Doric columned doorpiece;
at first floor, 5th, 11th and 16th, windows bipartite with
shell tympana and consoled cornices; other windows
aediculed with anthemion frieze and balusters; pilastraded
2nd floor; aedicular gablets flanked by paired chimneys
pedimented dormers. Bracketted cornice.
