Description

Matthews & Lawrie, 1868, ashlar, with rusticated centre at
ground floor. 2 storeys, symmetrical 2 bays with slightly
advanced centre. Round-arched doorpiece with carved keystone,
ground floor windows architraved and with panelled aprons.
1st floor, centre bay has paired Corinthian angle pilasters
carrying entablature and pediment, architraved windows with
aprons. Cornice and blocking course. Quoins. Slated roof.

Statement of Interest

Built as Dispensary. The Dispensary and Vaccine Institution

for the Sick was first established in Huntly Street in 1832.
