Description

1794. Ashlar, 3 storeys, 10-bay front with westmost 2 bays
slightly advanced; pilastraded shopfronts at ground floor;
at 1st floor, westmost window tripartite, pilastered and
corniced, with panelled apron; window next to westmost
architraved and corniced, with panelled apron; other
windows architraved with consoled pediments and panelled
aprons. 2nd floor, westmost window tripartite, eight eastern
windows have lugged architraves; cill course. Cornice and
parapet (originally balustrade). Slated roof.

Built as Burgh Courthouse. A group with Town Steeple.
