Description

Alexander Ross, 1882, snecked rubble with ashlar dressings.
2 storeys, symmetrical 3-bay front, segmental-arched and
hoodmoulded doorpiece flanked by canted single storey bay
windows; 1st floor windows with Jacobean artisan gableted
dormerheads.

The villas in Ardross Street were built between 1878 and

1889, mostly by designs by Ross & Macbeth INVERNESS COURIER,

April 25, 1878; Sept 19, 1883; April 8, 1884; Feb 4, 1887;

June 3, 1887; Aug 2, 1887 (advertisements for tenders)
