Description

Circa 1870.3-storey 9-bay tenement,access to upper floors via ornamental cast-iron framed platforms to the front.Rubble-built.

Elevation to Ardconnel terrace:end bays advanced with single stop-chamfered windows.Centre timber decks carried on 3 tiers of 3 cast-iron columns.1st floor steel (replacement?),2nd floor cast-iron,beams;timber corbelled eaves.Railings of alternate cast and wrought iron balusters.Rendered centre part:7 recessed bays,segmental arched doors at ends (later porches at ground floor).Twin segmental arches to semi-spiral stair and pend.Timber architraves.Plain 7-bay rear.Small extension to No 13.Slate roof.Stacks heightened nd rebuilt in brick:2 to front roof slope,2 to rear wallhead,1 to each gable.Windows sash and case,4-pane glazing pattern to front,12-pane pattern to rear,several altered.
