Description

Mid 19th century rectangular meeting-house; rubble with
slated roof; round arched windows, entrance projection at E
gable in 3 diminishing stages wrought-iron overthrow
lampholder at gate. Monument in forecourt to John Home,
author of Douglas, bust on tall pedestal.

Shown in 1854 map as Knox's Free Church, but as Free Library

in 1895 edition.
