Built in 1802-3 for Henry Davidson: details suggestive of
James Burn: 2-storey 3-window symmetrical classical mansion
with flanking single-storey side pavilions: ashlar with
slated, hipped roof; arched and pilastered doorpiece, ground
floor windows segmentally arched tripartites: urns, sphinx
and relief panels at blocking course: 2-storey harled and
slated western extension. Wrought iron overthrow lampholders
at entrance gates.
