J and G Mossman, 1897. Equestrian statue of St George and Dragon, re-erected at St George's Cross 1988, presented to people of Glasgow by Co-operative Society. Originally a piece of architectural sculpture. Mounted on railed ashlar plinth.
Removed from wallhead at former St George's Cross Co-operative Society in August 1985 on demolition of these premises.
