Late 19th century symmetrical 2-storey 3-bay villa with unusual recessed horizontal joints, like timber house construction. Ashlar. Central Corinthian-columned porch, outer full-height canted bays, paired brackets at eaves, end stacks, piended slated roof with iron-crested and glazed billiard room. Plate glass sashes. Altered/ added low wing either side. Big rear addition.
Boundary wall, elaborately detailed gatepiers.
Formerly "Craigmount", became private hotel just before World War II, latterly a home for the elderly. Similar to 27 Newark Drive. Considerably altered and extended for David C Campbell by Charles H Robinson, 1911-13, where the conservatory and stained glass features were added.
