Description

Wm Alston, engineer, Dec 1911 (built 1912) square brick campanile tower, with tall arched recesses to each elevation, one containing arched doorway under 2 arched windows with band courses. Bold dentil cornice. Low pitched Italian roof and ball finial.

Statement of Interest

Built for the Clyde Navigation Trust to power a hydraulic coal hoist.
