Circa 1850. 3-storey and basement classical tenement. 15 bays arranged 9-6. 1st 9 bays projecting by 1 bay. 3rd bay in 2nd section blind on 1st and 2nd floors. Polished ashlar. Greek Doric doorpiece with mutule cornice at No 142. 2 further corniced entrances with ramped architraves, consoled at No 150. All windows sash and case with 12-pane glazing.
E Section: ground floor: 5 bays from E with central entrance and 4 windows. 1st floor: 5 corniced windows with architraves dropping to string course at 1st floor level. 2nd floor: architraves dropped below cills.
Middle section: 4-bay, lugged architraves and corniced windows to ground floor with carved aprons and cill band; architraves removed on upper floors; cill band at 3rd floor. Short return bay to W section with similar window arrangement.
W section: 6-bay, doorways in 1st and 4th bays; cill band to ground floor windows with carved aprons, lugged architraves and cornices; architraves on upper floors removed. Cill band at 3rd floor. Wallhead stack on re-entrant angle; central stacks. Slate roof.
Remains of former Randolph Terrace.
