Gillespie, Kidd and Coia, 1970. 4-storey office with shop at ground floor. Rectangular plan, 6 x 16 main bays with 5-bay rear elevation. Reinforced concrete with copper facing. Ground floor projecting shop fronts. 3 floors of shaped, jettied windows above. Cornice.
Built for BOAC now (1987) Halifax Building Society. An interesting example of the work of the celebrated architectural practice, Gillespie, Kidd & Coia.
