Description

T L Watson, 1880. Free Renaissance. 3-storey commercial building,

ground floor altered, 4 bays, 2nd bay from E projecting, 3rd

bay advanced. Painted ashlar. Sash and case windows, plate glass. Projecting bay corbelled out over ground floor with sculpted

cornice. 1st floor bays divided by antae with sculpted heads,

pierced cavetto parapets, corniced, architraved windows. 1st

floor cornice. 2nd floor geometrically pierced parapet.

Stilted segmental arched, arcaded windows with Corinthian

colonettes, impost band, deep bracketted machicolated

cornice, dentil band, cornice, pediment over projecting bay.

Simple die parapet. End stacks.
