Description

Circa 1855. 4-storey classical tenement on corner site with modern shops at Argyle Street and No 3 Kelvingrove Street, 8 x 12 bays. Kelvingrove Street arranged 2-3-7, 1st 2 bays angled and advanced, last 7 bays stepped up. Ashlar, partly painted, channelled at ground floor, rear elevation droved ashlar. Partial ground floor dentilled shop cornice. Windows mainly 4-pane sash and case in architraves. Pilastered entry to No 1106 Argyle Street. 2 corniced entries in Kelvingrove Street with sculpted mask consoles. 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor

cill band. 4th and 7th bays from E on Argyle Street glazed blind, 2nd and 9th bays from S on Kelvingrove Street glazed blind. 1st floor windows corniced with frieze consoles and chamfered tympanum. 2nd floor windows corniced. Corniced wallhead, axial and end stacks. Slate roof.
