William Burn, architect, 1828. 3-storey, 5-bay
commercial property with shop front to ground. Polished
ashlar, painted and channelled to outer ground bays.
Advanced end bays with round-arched doorways (that to
right now glazed as window). Glazed shopfront to centre
bays. All windows single light with raised margins,
corniced to 1st. End bays have giant pilaster strips
flanking window. All sash and case with 4-pane glazing.
Band course over 2nd, eaves cornice, deep plain parapet
with die piers. Slate roof.
