Description

Circa 1860. Retained facade of former warehouse with Italian Renaissance detail. Redeveloped (2001) behind facade as multi-storey car park in association with adjoining commercial property to S. 3-storeys with full attic, 7-bays. Ashlar. Ground floor cornice forms cill to 1st floor windows. Giant pilaster strips between 1st and 2nd floor windows, linked vertically with central moulded panels, semi-circular heads with decorative roundels. Masqued brackets to dentilled main cornice, semi-circular headed attic windows, linked by string course at impost level. Cornice and blocking course. Modern sash and case windows . New deep fascia above 3 ground floor openings. Large outer vehicular openings as car park entrance and exit, with central doorway as pedestrian fire escape.
