Probably T Woodburn Sturrock, Circa 1859 2-storey classically
detailed villa of 3 asymmetrical bays. Yellow sandstone
ashlar with polished dressings and rusticated quoins.
Central tripartite entrance, (door with extensively glazed
surround), fronted by porch supported on paired Cornithian
columns with entablature and balustrade. To left full-height
bow with 5-lights to each floor, semi-conical, finialled
roof. To right full-height square projecting window with
5-lights, piended and finialled roof. Above door pilastered
window with pediment above cornice. Simply detailed side
and rear elevations. Sash and case windows with plate-glass
glazing.
Deep bracketted eaves; piended and platform slate roof,
platform surround by brattishing. Corniced stacks, some
shouldered.
