Earlier 19th century. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bays. Painted
roughcast, with contrasting margins, red sandstone stacks.
Central door with projecting Greek Doric columned and
pedimented porch. Plinth, angle margins, band course between
ground and first floor, cornice and parapet. All windows with
12-pane glazing. 2 gabled dormers, end stacks, slate roof.
Unsympathetic modern extension to left.
In 1858 this was a branch of the Western Bank of Scotland.
