Description

Late 18th century. 3-storey symmetrical inn. Rubble walling, harled to S elevation, otherwise painted; raised polished margins, base course and 1st floor cill band. smooth rusticated quoins.

Wide 3-bay main elevation to S; steps with modern concrete parpate to Gibbsian doorway; double leaf door with fanlight. Single light windows above door to 1st and 2nd. Tripartite windows to end bays at ground and 2nd; simplified Vennetians to 1st.

"-bay elevation to High Street with single light windows throughout, that to left ground formerly doorway with pediment and architrave remaining. All sash and case windows, 12-pane glazing pattern.

Piended slate roof, coped wallhead stack to E.

2-storey 2-bay painted rubble extension to E, single light windows. Those to 1st with modern plate glass glazing. Slate roofs.
