Description

1833, harled with finely broached ashlar dressings. 2 storeys
and basement, 3 bays. Centre slightly advanced and pedimented
with door, approached by flight of steps over-sailing basement
area; door and sidelights set in segmental arched recess, the
tympanum of the arch being filled with a fanlight; at first
floor of centre, Venetian window with Gothick glazing in centre
light and blind outer lights set in a round-arched recess
breaking into the pediment. Tripartite ground floor windows
at outer bays. At rear centre bay slightly advanced and
pedimented with ground floor Venetian window similar to that
at front; blind bullseye window in pediment. Ground floor band
course at front; eaves course, returned as string course
across gables. At gables parapets swept up to end chimney
stacks. Piended slated roof.
