1839-41, galleried rectangular church with Gothic detail.
South front and east gable ashlar, north front and west gable
rubble. South front of 4 bays with tall centre windows
originally lighting pulpit; at outer bays doors with gallery
windows above. All openings pointed arched with hood-moulds;
astragals at windows with intersecting traceried tops;
intersecting traceried fanlights above doors. Moulded eaves
course. Slated roof. Interior stripped of gallery and pulpit.
Single storey modern extension on north.
Built as Fortrose chapel of east; QUOAD SACRA parish erected,
1873; abandoned as a church, 1931. Contains Mackenzie of
Seaforth portraits, formerly at Brahan Castle.
