Early 19th century. 2-storey 8-window with original shops
(now closed). Stugged ashlar, stone slates. Poor condition.
Interesting late 18th/early 19th century group, typical of
Forfar. The roadway has retained its original stone setts
which add much to its character. Nos 43-79 and 64-162 are mid
Victorian with railed forestairs but are mostly inferior in
proportion and detail; Nos. 53-63 have been spoilt.
