Churchyard has recently been cleared of tombstones which have been re-erected against the walls. Memorial in centre to 189 fishermen lost at sea in October 1881. Watch-house: 1849, small building with slated roof, built almost entirely from fragments of tomb-stones, many of them elaborately carved.
Level of Old churchyard was raised 6 feet in 1849 to accommodate victims of the cholera epidemic. B group with Jasmine Cottage item 5.
