Description

1843. Large rectangular church orientated N/S with
advanced bays to N and S gables. Coursed rubble,
ashlar dressings. Romanesque entrance on return wall
northern projection; triple round-arched, shafted lancets
to N gable, clasping buttresses and pinnacles (2
truncated). 5 simple round-headed lancets to W flank;
moulded string course and parapet coping; lattice
glazing; slate roof.
Original galleried interior and fittings.
Church Hall to rear: A and W Reid and Wittet, 1903-4.
Tooled ashlar with rubble flanks and frontage to South
Guildry Street.
