Description

Archibald Simpson, 1830-33. Additions, John Wittet,
1903. Large rectangular school hall in classical style
linked to Anderson's Institution by service wing; later
additions of 3 classrooms linked to main block. Outer
additions of 5 bays; centre addition of 4 bays. All
finely tooled ashlar with shallow gabled slate roofs and
long multi-pane windows.

Built as part of Anderson's Institution. 1976-77 portion of

East End School excluded from listing.
