Cruciform church with polygonal apse to S and tower to NW.
To E lower hall range of 1912.
Snecked cream sandstone with polished ashlar dressings,
margins and quoins.
N elevation: main advanced central
gable with central ogee-headed window feature with moulded
architraves. To right square 3-stage tower with recessed
door to ground. Louvred belfry stage. Tower has shallow
pitch pyramidal copper roof.
4-bay nave with side aisles and clearstorey all round
arched windows with small-pane leaded glazing. Porch to
NW with moulded archivolt around recessed double leaf doors.
Interior: panelled low backed pews. Brick interior walls,
arcaded side aisles.
Timber panelled ceiling, dado panelled apse with elders'
pews.
Halls: 2 detached halls to SW of church. To S roughcast
with snecked ashlar 1930's porch. To W 5-bay rectangle
dated 1912, stugged ashlar with round arched windows; slate
roof with central fleche.
Boundary walls and railings: low coped ashlar wall supports
simple cast-iron railings.
Ecclesiastical building in use as such.
