1812-13. Square plan, 2-storey, 5-window droved ashlar front
to Davie Street, centre 3 slightly recessed, with wider
single-storey entrance feature of double doorpiece (new doors
1886) set in coupled Greek doric columns recessed into
facade, probably c.1830. 4-window stuccoed with margins to
West Richmond Street. Interior recast G. Washington Browne
1886.
Ecclesiastical building in use as such. Built as constitutional presbytery (original secession) meeting house
for Rev. Thomas McCrie. Joined Free Church 1852 renamed McCrie
Church 1858 became McCrie-Foxburgh 1886; and after a further
union of halls of Newington UF Church before passing to
the Apostolic Church.
