Robert Brown's scheme of 1814. 3-storey and basement
with anta pilastered front as above. Ground floor
rusticated.
Walker Estate (see below). Diagonally set square formed
by splay corners at the Melville Street Walker Street
intersection. The Melville and Walker Street houses all
date from Robert Brown's time. His original proposal
was for pedimented tetrastyle columnar features at the
centre of each frontage.
