Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, 4-bay, near symmetrical pair of classical houses, forming part of terrace. Lightly stugged cream sandstone ashlar. Base course; cill course to 1st floor windows; cornice and blocking course.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: corniced doorways to bays 2 and 3; panelled doors; circular patterned geometric fanlights; single windows to 1st floor above; bipartite windows to both floors in bay to outer left; tripartite windows to both floors in bay to outer right.

Plate glass, timber, sash and case windows to No 27; 12-pane, timber, sash and case windows to No 29. Grey slate pitched roof with mutual rendered and coped ridge stacks; moulded cans.

INTERIORS: not seen 1995.

BOUNDARY WALLS: low coursed and coped boundary walls to street; replacement railings.
