Early 19th century. 2-storey with attic, 3-bay, rectangular-plan pair of plain classical houses. Coursed sandstone; ashlar dressings. Base course; cill course to 1st floor windows; projecting cills at ground; long and short droved surrounds to windows.
N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: canted to outer right. Pilastered and corniced doorpiece to bay to outer right of No 67; timber door with small-pane upper panel; single window above; regular fenestration to 2 bays to left; 2 dormers. Consoles and pediment to doorpiece to bay to outer right of No 69; timber door with glass panel; single window above; regular fenestration to 2 bays to left; 2 dormers.
2-pane timber sash and case windows; 12-pane timber sash and case windows to dormers to No 69. Grey slate mansard roof, canted section swept at eaves; mutual skew; rendered and coped central ridge stack; corniced mutual stack with No 71; variety of moulded cans.
INTERIOR: not seen 1997.
BOUNDARY WALLS: low coped rubble wall to street of No 69.
Good example of early Victorian terrace housing, especially notable for their doorpieces.
