Earlier 19th century with later additions. 3-storey and attic, 3-bay, L-plan plain classical house, forming part of terrace. Sandstone ashlar. Band course above ground floor; cornice above 1st floor.
N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: pilastered and corniced doorpiece in bay to outer right; panelled timber door; fanlight; single windows to bays to left at ground; regular fenestration to upper floors; blind window to centre of 2nd floor; 2 late 19th century canted dormers to roof, linked by slate mansard.
2-pane replacement windows. Grey slate roof; coped gablehead stack and stone skew to W. Cast-iron rainwater goods.
INTERIOR: not seen 1997.
BOUNDARY WALLS: coped, coursed boundary wall to street with replacement wrought-iron railings.
B group with 1-3 Leven Street and 1-3 Gilmore Place, 5-15 Gilmore Place, 17-21 Gilmore Place and 25-19B Gilmore Place.
