Statement of Interest

Ground floor altered by Knox and Hutton, 1883 and recently reinstated as near as possible to the original design. Originally part of a 9-bay block with Nos 117 and 119; end houses pilastered, centre one astylar. Part of the original fabric of Edinburgh's New Town, one of the most important and best preserved examples of urban planning in Britain. A Group with Nos 109-113 (odd nos) George Street.
