Description

Robert Burn (?), 1809. 3-storey with attic and basement. 5-bay. Terraced classical tenement on falling ground. Sandstone ashlar. Base course, fascia band, projecting cills at 1st and 2nd, band course between 1st and 2nd, eaves band.

W (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: modern shopfront at ground with entrances in penultimate bays to left and right with windows to centre and outer bays. Regular fenestration above with dummy windows in penultimate bay to left. Tripartite piended dormers to right and left above with rooflight.

Timber sash and case with 12-pane glazing, grey slates, gablehead stacks with terracotta cans, cast-iron railings.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
