Later 19th century with later alterations and additions. 2-storey classical terrace of 2 and 6-bay blocks, each mirrored about centre. Nos 3 and 4 on higher ground, overstepping Nos 5 and 6 at wallhead. Deeply-channelled ashlar to ground floor, droved ashlar at 1st floor; squared and snecked rubble to side and rear elevations. Base course, band course, cill course to 1st floor, cornice and blocking course.
SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: each pair with Edinburgh panelled doors in centre bays, plate glass rectangular fanlights and windows at 1st floor above each. Windows to each floor in flanking bays.
NW ELEVATION: windows in 1st and 3rd bays at 1st floor, and single storey extension to each, except No 6, replaced by platform-roofed modern, painted, rendered extension.
4-pane timber sash and case windows. Purple slate roof with ashlar skews. End stacks with octagonal cans. Downpipe recess between paired properties.
INTERIOR: not seen, 1994. Shutters still in use.
BOUNDARY WALLS: droved ashlar with coping. Tall rubble garden wall to rear with semicircular coping (to No 3).
