Pre 1858. 2-storey irregular-plan gabled double villa. Cream sandstone, droved ashlar front and NW with polished ashlar dressings, squared and snecked stugged rubble with stugged ashlar dressings, to rear and side. 1st floor cill course to NE; overhanging eaves; timber brackets to main gables; ashlar mullions.
NE (ABBOTSFORD PARK) ELEVATION: 3-bay; round-arched and keystone, pilaster-flanked doorway at centre, panelled door and semi-circular plate glass fanlight; single window at 1st floor above. Gabled slightly advanced bay to right with 2-storey canted window (1-2-1), stop-chamfered reveals and half-piend roof. Bipartite windows with recessed stone pilasters to ground and 1st floor in left bay.
NW ELEVATION: M-gabled; main block of 4 bays to left with round-arched entrance door with recessed pilasters, panelled door and semi-circular plate glass fanlight in bay to right of centre, single window at 1st floor above. Bay to left of centre with blinded windows. Outer bays with single windows to ground and 1st floor; wallhead stack. Recessed rear wing to right with single windows to ground and 1st floor in left bay; wallhead stack.
SE(ALBERT TERRACE) ELEVATION: M-gabled; main block to right with single windows to outer right; single 1st floor window and small wallhead stack on return. Recessed rear wing to left with single window at 1st floor to right; wallhead stack. Single storey garage abutting. 2 wallhead stacks. SW (REAR) ELEVATION: 2-bay; left bay with tripartite windows to ground and 1st floor. Single windows to ground and 1st floor of right bay. Timber sash and case windows, mostly 8-pane, some plate glass and small-pane windows to rear and sides. Slate roof, lead flashings; 5 wallhead stacks (see above), tall cans.
INTERIOR: not seen 1992.
BOUNDARY WALL: low rubble boundary wall to front with saddleback coping; tall rubble wall with semi-circular rubble and flat stone coping to Albert Terrace, garage door in wall flanked by 2 blocked up coal-opening with droved margins.
