Description

Late 18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay house at bottom of main
street. Random whinstone rubble, ashlar dressings;
painted margins at ground floor. Door to centre with
2nd door to shop, adjacent at right, both with strip
fanlights. Windows flanking, 3 windows to 1st floor.
Sash and case windows, plate glass at ground floor,
12-pane glazing pattern to 1st floor.
Grey slates, straight skews, ashlar coped stacks. Single
small skylight.

Currently a chemists shop; note pestle and mortar mounted

on bracket.
