Circa 1920. Obelisk supported on segmental-pedimented pedestal and stepped base. Granite plaques set into each face of pedestal with inscription to front and names to sides and rear; town crest carved above plaque to front; laurel wreath, crossed standards and inscription FOR KING AND COUNTRY carved on front face of obelisk.
The memorial is aligned with the entrance gates to the park. It commemorates men who fell in both World Wars.
