Description

Earlier 19th century late Georgian 2-storey 3-bay
Modern wing to SW.
tripartite-plan villa with late 19th century alterations and
additions. Droved red ashlar with polished dressings; slated
roofs.
E elevation: steps to Roman doric-columned central porch,
round-headed doorway with fanlight and sidelights; architraved
windows (sashes with 4-pane glazing pattern); string between
floors; eaves course; cornice; symmetrical stacks. Full-height
2-bay wing recessed left; single storey wing at N and at S.
W elevation also with basement, canted full-height outer bays
with segmental pediments, central stair window with arched
panel over. Single dormer to N and to S.
