Description

Dated 1897. 3-storey corner building with shops at ground. 5
bays to Irish Street, single bay to Buccleuch Street, narrow
bay in canted angle. Shops at ground. Stugged red ashlar
with polished long-and-short worked dressings and shaped 1st
floor window heads. Round-arched and key-stoned door in
canted angle and central to Irish Street (wall-head stack
above latter door on projecting chimney breast). Windows
mostly mullioned or paired. String courses between floors;
eaves course; corniced stacks; slate roof.
