Erected 1913. Glazed terra-cotta fountain with eleborate
base: circular basin on decorative pedestal with 4 arched
supports, smaller basins above. Set in circular trough,
and formerly enclosed by iron railings.
Inscribed stone gives details. On junction with Cassalands
and Castle Douglas Road.
