Description

Circa 1800. Single-storey, rectangular-plan, 3- and 2-bay cottages. Mainly harled but no 393 at right rubble with long and short dressings, margined doors and windows, slate roof, thackstanes.

S ELEVATION: set-back behind low wall with railings; door with flanking widely spaced 2-pane sash and case windows; 43 small rooflights, ridge stacks at left and right, skew gable at left with skewputts. NO 393 adjoining at right: further door with 5-pane fanlight, window of unsympathetic material and design, margins part painted; 2 rooflights.

W GABLE: to St Vincent Street; 12-pane sash and case window at ground floor left, smaller window at attic level right.
