Circa 1800. 2-storey, 3-bay terraced house. Harled, slate roof, rendered and lined stacks (brick coped at E), stone ekews with skewputts.
S ELEVATION: centre door masked by large modern glazed single storey sun room, 2 widely-spaced 2-pane sash and case windows with painted cills; 1 similar at 1st floor left, another partially blocked at centre, tripartite at right. Rainwater pipe at right with funnel-shaped vertically ribbed hopper. Skew gable at left, mutual skew at right, both with ridge stacks and thackstanes. Top of piended roof of 18 Gray Street abutting ridge at left.
W GABLE TO GRAY STREET: blank, but with continuous base course to 22 Gray Street.
ENCLOSING WALL: squared rubble walls at S, cement rendered at W.
Incorporated with 11-13 Beach Crescent and 18-20 Gray Street as elderly ladies' home, formerly known as the home of Rest, established for retired domestic servants. House shown in engraving of Beach Crescent in 1835, in Bowman.
