Circa 1840-50. 2-storey 3-bay T-plan former Bleachfield manager's house on S side of Dighty. Rubble-built, coursed to front, with ashlar dressings.
ELEVATIONS: 1st floor cill course. Advanced central gabled bay, pilastered anta doorpiece with pedimental blocking course; consoled pedimented window over. Set-back N wing, 2-storey section with gable-end stack, piend-roofed single storey wing beyond. New stair added at E gable replacing single-storey terrace.
Broad eaved piended roof with ashlar end stacks. Sash and case windows, 4-pane glazing pattern.
Cast and wrought-ron railings.
Formerly linked to Claverhouse bleachfield by 2 footbridges, demolished, as was a small dwelling house and a bleach reeling house to E.
