1st half of 18th century. Pair of 2-storey houses, much
altered. Sandstone rubble, rendered and incised as ashlar
except at rear. Steep pantiled gable roof; raised plain
copings with remaining thackstane suggesting previously
thatched.
Each with forestair to the street, one with railings; doors
placed between floor levels. Mainly altered openings; blocked
window under eaves at rear (W).
