Description

Later 18th century. 3-storey, 4-bay tenements central pend
through to no. 51. Sandstone rubble; raised and painted
margins and cills. 12-pane glazing. Slate roof; rendered end
stacks; modern dormer additions. Newel stair at rear of pend
to upper floors.

Property has group interest with other listed buildings on High Street and West Port: see LB24778 to LB24791, LB24803 to LB24824 and LB24864 to LB24867.

Through pend to no. 51, an 18th century 2-storey cottage, listed separately. Shop front to left of 1911 (Dean of Guild), little altered.
