Earlier-mid 19th century. 2-storey, 5-bay villa with single storey pavilion flanks, now sub-divided. S elevation stugged ashlar, remaining elevations squared and snecked rubble; ashlar dressings. Base course. Band course between floors. Eaves cornice. Raised margins.
S (GLEBE STREET) ELEVATION: gabled doorcase advanced at centre; panelled door (No 15) and 2-pane fanlight. Regular fenestration to ground and 1st floors. Decorative cast-iron window guard at centre. Slightly recessed single storey screen-walled pavilions to left and right, with window; corniced pier to outer angle with statuary. Recessed shallow gabled doorcase to outer left, surmounted by urn, with panelled door (No 13) and plate glass fanlight.
E ELEVATION: window to left and right at 1st floor. Single storey block, with door to left, adjoined to right.
W ELEVATION: window to left and right at 1st floor.
N (REAR ELEVATION: 4-bay. Regular fenestration.
12-pane glazing pattern in sash and case windows. Piend and platform roof. Wallhead stacks at centre to E and W. 2 dormer windows to N pitch. Grey slates. Some original cans. Some original rainwater goods.
GARDEN AND BOUNDARY WALLS: further coped garden wall, surmounted by urn, with door, adjoined to left linking with neighbouring terrace No 11 Glebe Street. Lower garden wall, with door, adjoined to right. Low saddleback coped rubble retaining wall. 4 corniced flat-pyramidal capped piers with recessed panels; 2 pedestrian piers at centre, left inscribed "Glebe Bank", right "House".
No 13 occupies the 2 left bays of the villa. This villa was built sometime between 1835 and 1853. The design was originally symmetrical, but the outer left bay was recessed sometime between 1852 and 1892.
