18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan house. 20th century wing to W and rear. Ashlar margins to openings; harled.
S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: central door; flanking ground floor windows. Small central 1st floor window; flanking windows hug eaves. Single storey wing to left; central window.
W ELEVATION: 2 windows to later wing. 2 windows to N (rear) wing.
N ELEVATION: lean-to wing attached to rear; 2 windows to left; glazed doors to right. Glazed door to W wing.
E ELEVATION: plain gable wall.
Predominantly 8-pane timber sash and case windows. Enlarged windows to right, principal elevation. 2-leaf timber boarded front door. Pitched roof; clay pantiles; slate easing course. Coped gable apex stacks to house. Rear rooflight to house. Slated lean-to roof to rear wing .
INTERIOR: central rear 1st floor window exposed inside (blocked by later N extension). Approximately 3 foot thick former exterior walls, now visible inside where original house and later lean-to meet.
