Description

18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay building (now shop and pottery, 2001). Harled sandstone rubble; ashlar surrounds. Central forestair.

S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: central 1st floor door, hugging eaves. Forestair from left; plain metal railings. Ground floor door to right and large window to far right (former cartshed entrance). Ground floor window to left. 1st floor window to right and left. Low L-plan wall extends from right gable.

W ELEVATION: partially obscured by adjacent building; 1st floor window to right.

N ELEVATION: door to left; window to right; 1st floor central window.

E ELEVATION: exposed plain gable wall; projecting stone to left.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Large replacement window to front right. Glazed ground floor door. Timber studded 1st floor door. Pitched roof; clay pantiles. Crowstepped gables; gable end stacks. Curved crowstep by W stack to S.

INTERIOR: modern interior accommodating pottery workspace and display area.
