Description

Earlier 19th century house. Garden front: 2-storey with attic, 3-bays, centre projecting, and single storey wings to right and left. Rendered and lined as ashlar. Wide panelled angle pilasters. Panelled door framed by Tuscan columns and pilasters supporting cornice all recessed under shallow segmental arch. Ground floor tripartite windows set within

similar arches. 1st floor 2 sash windows flank central tripartite. 2-pane glazing throughout. Eaves cornice and blocking course. Slate roof, with straight skews and end stacks.

Wings have 1 tripartite window and piended slate roofs. That at right also has eaves blocking course. Rear elevation rubble with projecting staircase turret with round-headed window and piended slate roof. Interior: reception rooms retain moulded cornices and roses. Fireplaces 1870s; cast iron balustrade to hall staircase. Stained glass stair window dated 1874.
