Circa 1813. 3-storey and attic, 3-bay symmetrical tenement. Cement-rendered and lined elevation to street. Cill course at 1st floor level, raised margins to windows, projecting cills. Symmetrically disposed shopfront with doors flanking tenement door at centre and period windows to outer bays.
4-pane timber sash and case windows at 1st floor and attic windows, 12-pane at 2nd floor. Plate glass shop windows. Grey slate roof, timber piend roofed and slate-hung dormers over outer bays. Cast-iron gutter. Rendered multi-flue mutual stack to SE end.
This building retains enough of its original features to remain an important part of the fabric of the street. A photograph of circa 1977 shows it with a 2-flue shouldered wallhead stack over the centre bay bearing a stone inscribed with the date 1813 and the motto "Manu Forte".
